There is no set dress code, but do keep in mind that you will be asked to removed items of clothing (except underwear) that allows me to access the area that requires treatment. I would recommend bringing a pair of loose fitting shorts i.e. gym shorts. Ladies when it comes to removing bra's, it is completely down to your own personal preference and what makes you feel comfortable. Towels are used throughout the treatment to keep you warm but most importantly covered respectfully.
This type of treatment is not exclusive to people who are involved in sports, everybody on occasion can suffer with aches and pains and this may be a result of general stresses in life to occupational hazards. Massage has many benefits for everyone whether it's breaking down tension or promoting better blood circulation.
With this type of massage therapy we are looking at not only superficial layers (close to the skin) but deeper layers that may have caused discomfort. To help find these areas, we need to impart some pressure and in some cases a client may feel areas of pain. How I like to approach each treatment is that everyone is different and everyone's tolerance to pressure is different. During the treatments I always go at the pace in which is most comfortable for the client whilst still 'getting the job done'.
This question almost overlaps the previous question to a certain extent, and a lot of it will be down to how well the client responds to their treatment as well as how much we an do each time due to different tolerances and different techniques that are used throughout the massage. Equally some clients find that having a weekly massage helps control stress levels, I also have clients that receive continual monthly treatment which works for them
